This was the worst food we have had. Had to wait 45 minutes for a burger, brisket sandwich and personal pizza. When we got the food it was cold and so tough you couldn't even eat it.
The burger was dry, and having to pay extra for lettuce and tomato I expect lettuce and tomato, instead I got a half a slice of tomato and a very small wilted piece of lettuce and a burnt bun.
Friendly service and decent fast food. I try to make it to Donald's every time I am in Chadron.
Great old time diner. Great food.
The brisket sandwich was cold and so over cooked and tough you couldn't even bite thru it, and nothing on the grease filled bun. As soon I tried to pick it up it fell apart because the bun was so full of grease it wouldn't hold anything.
Will go again when I visit Chadron!
The food was so bad that I took it home and gave it to my dogs, they wouldn't even eat it and they eat just about anything.
The fries that came with each plate were marginal at best cold and hard fries are not fun.
Donald's is a typical cafe with lots of fried food. They offer a buffet and also a menu. It was neat to see an old pinball machine that still worked. I felt that the burger and fries were okay but not fantastic. It is a cafe setting. Clean and friendly people.
